Leta L Krieg

Colebrook – Leta L. Krieg, age 89, passed away at Briar Hill Nursing Home on Saturday, November 18, 2017. She was born on November 25, 1927 in Greene the daughter of H. Davis and Marian (Armstrong) Free.

Leta was married to Floyd F. Krieg on October 15, 1949. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She played a crucial role as a member of the Colebrook United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. In addition she was also the Church Organist and a Youth Group Leader.  You could find Leta at home baking, cooking, gardening, quilting and milking cows. She will be missed by her family and the Colebrook Community.

Survivors include her sons Gary (Debbie), Terry (Rhonda) and Tim (Patty) Krieg, daughters Kaline (Dave) Thompson and Trina (Gary) Kocab, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd F. Krieg, daughter Nadine Betts, sisters Dorothy Krafcik, Arlene Hall and brother Harlan Free.

A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Laurie Krieg will be held at the Colebrook United Methodist Church, 7925 Rt. 46, Colebrook, OH, on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 1:30pm. Memorial Contribution can be made to Colebrook United Methodist Church. 

Flowers - Need to be delivered to the church on Saturday, Nov. 26th between 10 am - 1pm
