Kathleen Jo Burkley

Orwell - Kathleen Jo Burkley, age 69, died on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Haines City, FL while recovering from a recent surgery. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on May 28, 1944 the daughter of Harold and Josephine Priddy.

Kathy and her husband William "Bill" were owners and operators of Pine Lakes Campground since 1976. She is remembered for her kind heart, wisdom, quick wit, faith, and love for all.

She is survived by her husband Bill, children Cindy, Gary, Patty, Susan, brother Tom, mother-in-law Martha, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

A funeral mass officiated by Rev. John T. Burkley will be held at St. Lucy Mission, 16280 Kinsman Road, Middlefield, OH 44062 at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Visitation will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076 on Monday, February 3, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. In lieu, of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Ladies Auxiliary at Geauga Medical Center, 13207 Ravenna Road, Chardon, OH 44024, Envelopes available at the funeral home.
