Karl Eric Brugman

Orwell - Karl Eric Brugman, age 37, was found Sunday after missing for several weeks. He was born May 12, 1980, in Geneva, the son of Karl Brugman Sr. & Deborah Stepp (Pfleger) and has lived in Ashtabula County all of his life. Eric was married to Angela Brugman on December 6, 2016.

If Eric were writing this, he would say he lived more than most, always a little reckless, but with a good heart. Eric loved nature and animals, and a dad of two Shihtzu dogs whom he enjoyed walking and playing often with. Eric enjoyed playing golf and going to the movies or out to dinner with this wife.   

Eric is survived by his wife, Angela Brugman; and his mother, Deborah Stepp (Pfleger); a brother, Jeffrey Brugman of Windsor; sisters, Tara (John) Rumansik (Burlinski), Shaunna (Chris) Brown (Burlinski); his paternal grandmother, Mildred Brugman of Windsor Twp.; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John &Carrie Stepp; his father Karl Brugman Sr. and four uncles.

Visitation services will be held Tuesday, March 27th 5:00 – 6:15 PM. Memorial Services will follow starting at 6:30PM at Paine Funeral Home in Orwell. Pastor Mark Biel with Rock of Grace Ministries will be officiating.
