Janice Elaine Martin

Windsor- Janice E. Martin, 68, died unexpectedly at Univiserty Hospital Cleveland on Friday, July 13, 2018.

She was born on February 10, 1950 in Painesville, Ohio the daughter of Raymond E. Phillipp and Jennie (Petrowski) Phillipp. She married John Thomas Martin on June 25, 1994.

Janice had previously resided in Perry, Ohio before moving to Windsor, where she has lived the past 13 years. She enjoyed, baking, canning, working crossword puzzles, watching WWE, spending time with her family, and loved animals.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband of 24 years, John T. Martin; children, Michelle (Eddie) Mitchell, Dorothy (Mark) Ratliff and Dennis (Anne) Phillipp; grandchildren, Dimitrius Mitchell, Eddie Raimey, Breanna Ratliff, Kerth Ratliff, Roberta Phillipp, Fidelia Phillipp, Montana Phillipp and Nathan Phillipp; great-grandchildren, Nyaira Phillipp and Myla Raimey; sisters, Donna Loomis, Judy Smith, Velma (Gary) Cibart, Barbara (David) Mills; and brothers, Bruce (Ellen) Phillipp and David (Deanne) Phillipp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Darlene Phillipp and Luanna Phillipp; grandson, Joshua Phillipp; and a brother-in-law, Bob Loomis.

Calling hours will be held, Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5-8PM at Paine Funeral Home, 140 E. Main St., Orwell. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 103 North Maple St., Orwell, with Rev. Fr. John P. Madden, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
