Janice J Lake

Janice J. Lake, 74, life-long resident of Orwell, OH passed away on June 26, 2017 at UH Geauga Hospital.

Janice was the daughter of Lester Clark and Sue Kubacko Clark born on February 3, 1943 in Warren, OH.

She retired after 26 years of employment at Nickles Bakery, and was a member of the Nazarene Church in Orwell.

Janice loved her pets and loved living in South Carolina during the winter months with her former husband and their dog, Buffy.

She is survived by her two children; Cheryl (Kevin) Gibson of Concord, NC and Alan (Laura) Lake of Colebrook, OH, and one grandchild, Mitchell Lake.

Janice was preceded in death by her father, mother, an infant brother, and her step-father.

Services officiated by Pastor Laurie Krieg, will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 12:00pm at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc. 140 E. Main St. Orwell, OH 44076.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on the day of service from 10:00am to 11:45am.  Visitors are to wear casual dress, per Janice’s request.

Graveside services will be held immediately following the service at the Colebrook Twp. North Cemetery on Fee Rd., Colebrook, OH.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd, Ashtabula, OH 44004.
