Irene Fulop

Irene Fulop, 88, of Hartsgrove passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born on May 11, 1930 in Garrettsville the daughter of Mike and Elizabeth (Biro) Szabo. Irene graduated from Hiram High School Class of 1948 and would marry the love of her life, Louis Fulop on November 5, 1949.

She loved to garden, raising and selling her own produce for many years. It brought great joy to her to see people lined up at her stand before she arrived to purchase her goods. Irene had many interests over the years from being a beautician, baking and decorating wedding cakes and embroidery being among the many of them.

She is survived by her children, Debra L. Book and Gary L. Fulop; sister, Helen Lafferty; granddaughter, Jade Fulop; great-grandchildren, Amber Fulop and Ashlynn and Austin Janson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Louis Fulop; and brothers, Paul, Mike and Louie Szabo.

Graveside services officiated by Chaplain Patrick Plunkett will be held, Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00AM at Hartsgrove Cemetery.
