Clara Marie Mezinger

New Lyme--- Clara Marie Mezinger, age 49, died at her home peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2013 with her husband and son by her side. Clara was the daughter of Frank and Anita Delzotti, born March 2, 1964 in Euclid, Ohio. Clara was married to John W. Mezinger on October 6, 1990. Clara graduated from Kent State University in 2008 with a degree in childhood education. Clara was affectionately known as "Mrs. M" by her students at the Redstone School House in Rock Creek. Clara's favorite quote and one that she lived by each day is "One Hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had, nor what my clothes were like, but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child." Clara is survived by her husband, John, her son, Nickalas Allen, her stepsons John Christopher and Chadd Robert, her parents, Frank and Anita, a sister, Susan Stiverson, and a brother, Joseph Delzotti.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH 44076. Visitation will be held at the funeral home same day from 4:00 - 5:45pm. www.painefuneralhome.com
